BP Continues Refinery Turnaround At Whiting Refinery
BP Products continues with planned maintenance at its 420,000 b/d Whiting, Indiana refinery. The 110,000 b/d FCCU 500 and 29,000 b/d SF Alkylation work that began in mid-September is now scheduled to be completed and the units restarted on November 21, 2016 instead of November 14, 2016 as previously reported. The 90,000 Crude Pipestill 11C which began planned maintenance on October 10, 2016 remains on scheduled for completion on November 23, 2016. Work on the 100,000 b/d GOHT Gas Oil Hydrotreater that began in mid-September and had been expected to be completed on November 4, 2016 has been extended due to additional required repairs. Restart of the GOHT may be extended until the end of the month. The exact restart date remains unknown at this time, IIR continues to monitor the refinery more additional updates.
