The Sandy Creek Energy Station in ERCOT has experienced an unplanned outage at its 900MW coal plant. Maintenance personnel continues work on cooling pump issues at the plant.

Sandy Creek previously had an outage in January 2016 and November 2015. The 900MW plant located in Riesel, Texas, finished construction in June 2013.

IIR Energy continues to monitor the plant for any changes or delays to the plant coming back online at full capacity.
