China's Coal Output Drops 0.9% Year-Over-Year in March
Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--In March 2021, China's coal output totaled 340 million metric tons, a slight drop of 0.2% from March 2020, but 9.4% higher than the output in March 2019, according to the National Bureau of Statistics of China.
From January to March, China's accumulative coal output reached 970 million metric tons, a 16% jump from the same period last year, or 15.4% over the output in the same period in 2019, according to the bureau.
China's coal imports totaled 27.33 million metric tons in March, an 1.8% drop from March 2020; imports totaled 68.46 million metric tons from January to March, a 28.5% drop from the same period in 2020.
